KATHMANDU: Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds in many places of the country starting this evening till September 25.
The Department stated that the low-pressure area around the north-east of Bay of Bengal is in the process of shifting towards the north-west. This will bring heavy rain along and winds for the period.
The weather bulletin shared that Province 1, 2, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province will see heavy rain tonight, accompanied by winds in those places including Province 5.
The same was forecasted for tomorrow and the day after.
However, for the night on Wednesday, it stated that few places of Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province will see heavy rain while windy weather in places of Province 1, 2, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Province 5, Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province.
As per the weather update issued by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 20.0 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature at 31.0 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, the minimum temperature throughout the country was recorded today in Jumla at 14.4 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature throughout the country was recorded in Nepalgunj at 36.5 degrees Celsius
